Christmas Bonspiel 2022!

A detailed history of the Speirs Trophy completed by Brian and Valerie Veitch has been added to the Club History link.

This competition is played on a knock-out basis by one rink per club. This year the participating clubs are Nondes, Bearsden, Cawder House, Cadder, Greenacres and Helensburgh with the first games being played on Tuesday 9 January. Simon, Peter, Alan and John are representing Bearsden and we wish them good curling in their game tonight.

Bearsden members are out and about at the start of the curling season.  John Dunlop in the Irish Curling Association’s first game of the new season at Greenacres Ice Rink. John was in the winning rink with team mates Maria O’Neill, Charlotte Tierney and skip Neil Fyfe.

Arrangements are in place to organise Rinks for the forthcoming season. Rink Team Sheets are being prepared and members will be asked to confirm availability for the dates allocated to us.
