Christmas Bonspiel 2022!

Bearsden played against Dumbarton in a close game on Wednesday 29 November in the round robin. The game concluded with a 7-6 win to Bearsden. Now through to the semi-finals on Wednesday 13 December brings us up against the skill of Kelvinside. Ross, Simon, Alan and Alison – we will give it our best! 

This was a keenly fought competition between the Ladies and Gents of Bearsden Curling Club.  Due to the shortage of female members in the club some of our gents very kindly assisted in the Ladies Team.  Surprisingly, for the second year running, the Gents came out on top!  Apparently by a 6 point lead…… though…

Congratulations to Alison Barr who this weekend won a silver medal playing for Team McIntyre in the Scottish Curling Masters Championships. Sunday 17 March saw 24 curlers from the above clubs venture onto the ice at Greenacres to challenge their skills in specific shots.
