Christmas Bonspiel 2022!

The last round robin Rink Game was played on the 19th Jan. Results below.  Teams order for semi final on 5th February  would be:       D v B  and A v C 

This was a keenly fought competition between the Ladies and Gents of Bearsden Curling Club.  Due to the shortage of female members in the club some of our gents very kindly assisted in the Ladies Team.  Surprisingly, for the second year running, the Gents came out on top!  Apparently by a 6 point lead…… though…

The website is now live. Password is as before and you need it for the Members details and Rink information (please contact Secretary Peter if you have forgotten it). The website needs new images of club activity. We are on the case!

Two of our annual competitions finals are being played in March between the following rinks. Firth Medal – 22 March –  Rink A (Joan MacVoy) v Rink C (Geraldine Murphy) Rink Medal – 25 March – Rink D (Gerry McCormak) v Rink A (Joan MacVoy)

Ross Barr was presented with the Carmunnock and Rutherglen Curling Club Gold Medal on Tuesday at Greenacres.  This was presented by President Brian Hudson.  This was last awarded In 2017. Well done Ross!
