The 2023/2024 Competition Results in Full

This competition is played on a knock-out basis by one rink per club. This year the participating clubs are Nondes, Bearsden, Cawder House, Cadder, Greenacres and Helensburgh with the first games being played on Tuesday 9 January. Simon, Peter, Alan and John are representing Bearsden and we wish them good curling in their game tonight.

Update and Reminder The big derby is now just over two weeks away; Ladies v Gents. Saturday 17th February 2024 at 3pm. Rinks will be made up comprising all ladies rinks versus all gents rinks. The Closing Bonspiel of the RCCC Ladies Branch Glasgow was held at Greenacres Curling Club on Wednesday 22 March. Congratulations to Alison Barr who this weekend won a silver medal playing for Team McIntyre in the Scottish Curling Masters Championships. Bearsden played against Dumbarton in a close game on Wednesday 29 November in the round robin. The game concluded with a 7-6 win to Bearsden. Now through to the semi-finals on Wednesday 13 December brings us up against the skill of Kelvinside. Ross, Simon, Alan and Alison – we will give it our best! 

On Saturday 2 March Bearsden members met Gateway members in a friendly match at Greenacres, with the aim of a fun game and potential recruitment of new Bearsden club members.
