This was a keenly fought competition between the Ladies and Gents of Bearsden Curling Club.  Due to the shortage of female members in the club some of our gents very kindly assisted in the Ladies Team.  Surprisingly, for the second year running, the Gents came out on top!  Apparently by a 6 point lead…… though…

Our Bearsden ladies, on this occasion, Joan, Geraldine, Ann and Alison, put up a valiant fight in their semi-final against a strong Glasgow Ladies rink. President Ross Barr donned his Irish team shirt at the weekend to play in the Kinross International Friendly Bonspiel.  Celtic Connections was established by mixing two Welsh Seniors with two Irish Seniors.
