John was in the winning rink with team mates Maria O’Neill, Charlotte Tierney and skip Neil Fyfe.
This was a keenly fought competition between the Ladies and Gents of Bearsden Curling Club. Due to the shortage of female members in the club some of our gents very kindly assisted in the Ladies Team. Surprisingly, for the second year running, the Gents came out on top! The Jim Fraser Pairs was held at Greenacres on Tuesday 12 March. On this occasion eight clubs participated in the competition – Helensburgh, Bearsden Ski, Bearsden, Alma, Kelvinside, Dumbarton, Cadder and Partick.
