Dunbartonshire Province Competition – Jim Fraser Pairs

The Jim Fraser Pairs was held at Greenacres on Tuesday 12 March.

On this occasion eight clubs participated in the competition – Helensburgh, Bearsden Ski, Bearsden, Alma, Kelvinside, Dumbarton, Cadder and Partick.  Each game was three ends and each player had three stones.

Bearsden was represented by Eilidh and Alan. They were successful in their games against both Alma and Helensburgh, but had a defeat in their game against Dumbarton.  Bearsden were then tied on points with Alma, and despite winning in the head to head, Alma had one extra end over Bearsden which meant that Alma qualified to play in the final against Kelvinside.

Well done Eilidh and Alan – one to be repeated!
