Bearsden members are out and about at the start of the curling season.  John Dunlop in the Irish Curling Association’s first game of the new season at Greenacres Ice Rink. John was in the winning rink with team mates Maria O’Neill, Charlotte Tierney and skip Neil Fyfe.

Skip Joan has been leading the charge in this particular competition with success. This was a keenly fought competition between the Ladies and Gents of Bearsden Curling Club.  Due to the shortage of female members in the club some of our gents very kindly assisted in the Ladies Team.  Surprisingly, for the second year running, the Gents came out on top!  Apparently by a 6 point lead…… though…

President Ross Barr donned his Irish team shirt at the weekend to play in the Kinross International Friendly Bonspiel.  Celtic Connections was established by mixing two Welsh Seniors with two Irish Seniors.
