The 23/24 season started on Friday the 22nd September with the Opening Bonspiel. 4 Rinks competed for first place with wonderful prizes at stake for the winners and runners up. This competition is played on a knock-out basis by one rink per club. This year the participating clubs are Nondes, Bearsden, Cawder House, Cadder, Greenacres and Helensburgh with the first games being played on Tuesday 9 January. Simon, Peter, Alan and John are representing Bearsden and we wish them good curling in their game tonight.

Thursday 7 November saw 24 Canadian Ladies Curlers being piped from their tour bus into Greenacres Ice Rink to play the fifth game of the Canadian  tour, having played at Stranraer and Lanarkshire Ice Rinks since their tour commenced on Monday 4 November.  In total they will curl at 15 different rinks throughout Scotland before…
