Well done to our rinks who played the earlier games in the Allan Cup which resulted in Bearsden proceeding to the semi-fInals. The semi-finals are being played this Wednesday 4 December at 8:30pm with Dumbarton -v- Bearsden and Kelvinside -v- Alma. Good curling to our rink of Simon, Eilidh, Alan and Stefan.
Great to see our club members out and about playing in Bonspiels and Championships with other Clubs:- The National Gateway Bonspiel was held in Stranraer on 22/23 March where two of our Bearsden curlers were playing – Eli and Stefan, supported by Emily. Thursday 7 November saw 24 Canadian Ladies Curlers being piped from their tour bus into Greenacres Ice Rink to play the fifth game of the Canadian tour, having played at Stranraer and Lanarkshire Ice Rinks since their tour commenced on Monday 4 November. Bearsden Curling Club along with our Sister Club the Ski Club Curling Club will be holding our annual Ladies V Gents match on Saturday 18th Feb at 15:00, this will be followed by a two course meal.
