Speirs Trophy

On Tuesday night we had a very close first five ends in our game against Bearsden Ski Club. However, inthe last two ends we managed to come to the fore finishing with a 10 – 5 win. Well done Ross, Simon, Alan and Alison.  Keep going strong!!

The 1911 Centenary Bonspiel is an annual event between the four curling clubs who were founded in 1911 viz. Bearsden, Craigie Hill, Monifieth and Wengen. Bearsden members are out and about at the start of the curling season.  John Dunlop in the Irish Curling Association’s first game of the new season at Greenacres Ice Rink. John was in the winning rink with team mates Maria O’Neill, Charlotte Tierney and skip Neil Fyfe.
