Cuthbert Cup Runners-Up 2025

The first round game against Cadder took place on Tuesday 9 January.  Despite winning six out of the eight ends played, Bearsden came second in the 10 – 8 game.  Sounds like a good effort by our team. Thanks to Simon, Peter, John and Alan for representing us.

Bearsden CC participated in the first Dunbartonshire Province competition of the season, the Cuthbert Cup, on Saturday 14th October. Our Bearsden ladies, on this occasion, Joan, Geraldine, Ann and Alison, put up a valiant fight in their semi-final against a strong Glasgow Ladies rink. On Sturday the 15th of February the BCC Gents emerged victorious ov the Ladies. Simon Blyth graciously accepted the winners accolade. The trophy has to be found before a formal presentation can be made! The word is Ross has it.
