Getting near the endof season

The annual friendly game between Partick CC and Bearsden CC took place yesterday afternoon. The Partick Rink was skipped by David Scott and our Bearsden Rink was skipped by Geraldine. An enjoyable and friendly game was played out with Skip Geraldine ably taking the Bearsden Rink to successfully winning the game.

Congratulations to Alison Barr who this weekend won a silver medal playing for Team McIntyre in the Scottish Curling Masters Championships. The Jim Fraser Pairs was held at Greenacres on Tuesday 12 March. On this occasion eight clubs participated in the competition – Helensburgh, Bearsden Ski, Bearsden, Alma, Kelvinside, Dumbarton, Cadder and Partick.  Each game was three ends and each player had three stones.
