This was a keenly fought competition between the Ladies and Gents of Bearsden Curling Club.  Due to the shortage of female members in the club some of our gents very kindly assisted in the Ladies Team.  Surprisingly, for the second year running, the Gents came out on top!  Apparently by a 6 point lead…… though…

Bearsden CC participated in the first Dunbartonshire Province competition of the season, the Cuthbert Cup, on Saturday 14th October. The competition is played between eight clubs with two teams from each club; one team playing at 12:30 and one at 16:00. A closely contested Final took place on Monday 25 March between Rink D (Gerry McCormack) and Rink A (Joan MacVoy) . The Final was won by Rink A and Runners Up were Rink D RINK A – Rink Medal Winners Runners Up

This week saw both Simon and Ross compete in their respective rinks in the Qualifying Rounds for the Scottish National Masters. This was held at Greenacres over 7 – 9 November.
