Our Bearsden ladies, on this occasion, Joan, Geraldine, Ann and Alison, put up a valiant fight in their semi-final against a strong Glasgow Ladies rink. Unfortunately the game ended with three ends each and Glasgow Ladies having last stone in the seventh and final end.

On Sunday 12th November, Bearsden CC and Crossmyloof CC played our annual match for the McKenzie Cup at Hamilton Ice Rink. On Sturday the 15th of February the BCC Gents emerged victorious ov the Ladies. Simon Blyth graciously accepted the winners accolade. The trophy has to be found before a formal presentation can be made! The word is Ross has it.

Congratulations to John Dunlop who was one of the Bearsden Curlers who participated in the Invitational Partick Points Competition held on Thursday 7 December at Greenacres. John came third in this competition and won a bottle of wine for his Christmas celebrations. Well done John.
On Tuesday night we had a very close first five ends in our game against Bearsden Ski Club. However, inthe last two ends we managed to come to the fore finishing with a 10 – 5 win. Well done Ross, Simon, Alan and Alison. Keep going strong!!
