Great to see our club members out and about playing in Bonspiels and Championships with other Clubs:- The National Gateway Bonspiel was held in Stranraer on 22/23 March where two of our Bearsden curlers were playing – Eli and Stefan, supported by Emily.   There were teams from Inverness, Stirling, Fife, Moray, Edinburgh and Glasgow….

Simon is this weekend umpiring at the prestigious Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship being held at the Dewars Centre, Perth over 22 – 25 January.   This Championship is a Scotland wide competition with 15 couples teams.   The rinks playing include several previous National and World Champions including the familiar names of Dodds/Mouat, Aitken/Hardie, McMillan/Craik…

The Jim Fraser Pairs was held at Greenacres on Tuesday 12 March. On this occasion eight clubs participated in the competition – Helensburgh, Bearsden Ski, Bearsden, Alma, Kelvinside, Dumbarton, Cadder and Partick.  Each game was three ends and each player had three stones.
