A closely contested Final took place on Monday 25 March between Rink D (Gerry McCormack) and Rink A (Joan MacVoy) .

Simon is this weekend umpiring at the prestigious Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles Championship being held at the Dewars Centre, Perth over 22 – 25 January. This Championship is a Scotland wide competition with 15 couples teams. The Jim Fraser Pairs was held at Greenacres on Tuesday 12 March. On this occasion eight clubs participated in the competition – Helensburgh, Bearsden Ski, Bearsden, Alma, Kelvinside, Dumbarton, Cadder and Partick.
