The first round game against Cadder took place on Tuesday 9 January.
Despite winning six out of the eight ends played, Bearsden came second in the 10 – 8 game. Sounds like a good effort by our team.

Well done to our rinks who played the earlier games in the Allan Cup which resulted in Bearsden proceeding to the semi-fInals. Bearsden played against Dumbarton in a close game on Wednesday 29 November in the round robin. The game concluded with a 7-6 win to Bearsden. Now through to the semi-finals on Wednesday 13 December brings us up against the skill of Kelvinside. Ross, Simon, Alan and Alison – we will give it our best!
Bearsden Curling Club along with our Sister Club the Ski Club Curling Club will be holding our annual Ladies V Gents match on Saturday 18th Feb at 15:00, this will be followed by a two course meal. This event has always been extremely popular and well supported and I hope this will continue this year….
