There were 12 rinks in the Men’s Section, who had previously played in a pre-qualifying round and 11 rinks in the Ladies Section.

Simon was playing in the Gillespie rink who was fourth placed in Section A. Alison’s rink, McIntyre, was placed third in Section B.  Ross who plays in Sharp’s rink won three games and peeled a fourth, and have progressed to play in Sunday’s semi-final.  The Sharp rink are no strangers to the National Masters Championship semi-final, having reached this stage on three previous occasions.  This could be the one!!

Exciting times at Greenacres.
