The first round game against Cadder took place on Tuesday 9 January.  Despite winning six out of the eight ends played, Bearsden came second in the 10 – 8 game.  Sounds like a good effort by our team. Thanks to Simon, Peter, John and Alan for representing us.

This competition is played on a knock-out basis by one rink per club. This year the participating clubs are Nondes, Bearsden, Cawder House, Cadder, Greenacres and Helensburgh with the first games being played on Tuesday 9 January. Simon, Peter, Alan and John are representing Bearsden and we wish them good curling in their game tonight.

Geraldine’s 2024 curling season got off to a good start when she was playing with Glasgow Ladies in their Bonspiel on Thursday 4 January at Greenacres. The format of the Bonspiel over eight ends required playing two ends then moving on to play a new rink. Geraldine was in Kirstine Cochrane’s rink who narrowly beaten…

On Wednesday 13 December, Bearsden took to the ice in the Allan Cup Semi-final and managed to loose a 5 in the first end ! Ross, Simon, Alan and Alison, not to be disheartened, went on to win two ends with the final score being a 11-2 win for Kelvinside Accies. The other semi final…
