The first round game against Cadder took place on Tuesday 9 January.  Despite winning six out of the eight ends played, Bearsden came second in the 10 – 8 game.  Sounds like a good effort by our team. Thanks to Simon, Peter, John and Alan for representing us.

Congratulations to John Dunlop who was one of the Bearsden Curlers who participated in the Invitational Partick Points Competition held on Thursday 7 December at Greenacres. John came third in this competition and won a bottle of wine for his Christmas celebrations. Well done John.

Congratulations to Peter Drummond who was not only the Bearsden CC Points winner but the overall winner between the three clubs of Partick, Bearsden Ski and Bearsden CC. An enjoyable competition was run by Alan Rattray from Partick who made the occasion lighthearted and ensured no-one left without a prize. Alan a runner up! Ross…

This competition is played on a knock-out basis by one rink per club. This year the participating clubs are Nondes, Bearsden, Cawder House, Cadder, Greenacres and Helensburgh with the first games being played on Tuesday 9 January. Simon, Peter, Alan and John are representing Bearsden and we wish them good curling in their game tonight.
