New Season 2024/2025

As September begins our thoughts return to curling with Rink Conveners getting in touch to set up the new Season’s games. This season we have introduced Partick Curling Club to join us in the Rink Medal as well as Bearsden Ski Club in the Speirs Trophy. The season will get underway on Friday 20th September with our Opening Bonspiel at Greenacres, 6.00pm. Scottish Curling Ladies Branch Opening Bonspiel is taking on Wednesday 18th September and we wish Valerie and Geraldine every success in this.
In the wider world of curling, Bruce Mouat and his team are back in good curling form with two wins on the international circuit. The first being in the Baden Masters in Switzerland, then in the Euro Super Series in Stirling last month. This weekend he is competing in the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard in Canada. Other Scottish teams are flying the Scottish flag too, we have a lot to be proud of in the curling world.
